Job Summary

The Account Manager position is responsible for helping with the day-to-day sales operations of the Company as well as will help with customer service. The position is responsible for meeting with clients and creating estimates which will aligning and contributing to the Company’s Sales Goals for the future. This position will also help with estimates and contract renewals, new contracts, upsells, as well as help with customer service needs as they arise. The Account Manager will assist the Production Manager as needed during larger or complex projects as well as meet with crews, perform quality checks, help with scheduling, inventory management, and help with marketing functions, in addition to other duties as well.

Essential Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• One year of Sales and Customer Service experience required
• One year of Green Industry/Landscape experience is required
• Proficient in team collaboration, verbal and written communication
• Collaboration experience but comfortable working alone or without supervision
• Must be able to display a positive “can do” attitude at all times, especially under tight deadlines
• Displays unquestionable ethics, integrity, responsibility, and dependability
• Understanding of Landscape related mathematical functions, including measuring spaces, configuring elevations, and calculating material quantities and specifications
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
• Proficient in use of computers and software applications, smart phones, or data-enabled devices
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment in sometimes harsh weather conditions, sometimes near heavy equipment and construction activities
• Ability to work flexible working hours to accommodate customer appointments and meetings
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on company policy
• Able to pass a background check in compliance with all VA and Federal Laws

Bonus Points if You Have These

• Associate Degree or equivalent skills
• 3 years of landscape industry experience
