  • ASC330 experience as it relates to allocating freight costs and capitalizing freight costs to inventory for items on the water or unsold inventory on hand
  • Audit experience
  • Tax experience
  • Experience in multi-state tax filings. consolidated tax returns.
  • Managerial experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop as a professional in an entrepreneurial organization that provides opportunity to work with your areas of interest
  • Conduct, lead, and be the primary point of contact for external CPAs for the annual PCAOB audit
  • Creating work papers for month-end and annual audits.
  • Oversight of bookkeeper/staff accountant
  • Quarterly Sales tax filings
  • Develop and document business scalable processes for accounting and business initiatives, including driving automation and process improvements.
  • Own multiple areas of the accounting close and reporting process from end-to-end; calculate and record journal entries, prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, obtain and review required supporting documentation, and perform account reconciliations.
  • Assist/lead in multiple accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
  • Assist the Finance function in producing monthly flux analyses and explain variances
  • Take part in various initiatives that involve multi-competence cross-functional collaboration, such as new market/products financial reporting setup, new systems implementation, process improvement leaps, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
