Administrative Coordinator Job at Clemson University
Prepares payroll and processes all personnel forms for Counseling and Psychological Services, Healthy Campus and
Medical Services. Performs administrative, management, and secretarial support to the Executive Director of Student Health Services. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
55% - Essential - Departmental Human Resources:
Prepares payroll for all departments within Student Health Services. Reconciles leave requests for non-exempt classified staff, monitors leave balances. Coordinates all personnel activities for the department with division Human Resources Manager. Initiates and processes all new hires from initial
request through New Employee Onboarding. Serves as resource on personnel policies and procedures and all other HR related questions. Order and install signage for new employee offices and others as needed.
35% - Essential - Administrative Support:
Provides administrative support to Executive Director. Maintains Executive Director's calendar, schedules meetings, records minutes, compiles materials and reserves meeting locations.
Maintains departmental and team specific listservs. Maintains compliance information and accreditation data for The Joint Commission. Participates in accreditation process by maintaining up-to-date policy and procedures relating to HR duties.
5% - Essential - Other Support:
Assists in budget planning processes. Assists in monitoring the use of the departmental credit card, enforcing policies and procedures. Monitors and maintains licensures, registrations and insurance documentation.
5% - Essential - Group work:
Participates in leadership committee work. writes and updates policies and procedures; participate in incident drills; provider credentialing, HR/Payroll Liaison team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred experience working in a virtual environment.

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Expected Salary Range - Band: 05 ($ 35,360.00 - $ 44,000.00)

Required to respond during an emergency closure or modified operations in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
