Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for an Administrative Functional Support 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our New Town, ND. facility. We are a world-class manufacturer of composite structures, radomes, and antenna systems for military applications. We design and manufacturer solutions for our war fighters to keep our country safe and maintain peace on a global scale.
The Administrative Functional Support 3 works closely with Talent Acquisition to recruit, process, and on-board new employees. He / She will be responsible for gathering, compiling, and reporting on recruitment and retention information relevant to the supervisor’s assignment.
The ideal candidate will be able to follow oral and written instructions, have a high attention to detail, be organized and efficient, be able to multi-task and complete competing priorities. They should be comfortable with working with minimal supervision or instruction for routine work. **This is a 1st shift position working a 4/10 schedule with every Friday off. This position requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Act as coordinator on special projects and activities ensuring deadlines are met
- Support functional areas of finance, purchasing, and human resources
- Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources
- Use software to generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations
- Escalate complex issues to a supervisor
- Frequently interact with individuals representing other departments and/or outside organizations
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or relative experience
- Ability to work within MS applications i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF (with the ability to create, edit, log and track data in spreadsheets and prepare presentations)
- Experience working in a recruiting or administrative role
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources related field
- Experience in a Talent Acquisition/Recruiter role
- Experience in an administrative support role
- ATS experience in Workday, and/or TALEO
