Duties

The After School Teacher supervises and engages with children in grades K-5 during indoor and outdoor play at After School. The After School Teacher is responsible for guiding their group of children and supporting the Site Supervisor in the program by helping with daily tasks such as snack preparation and program set-up and take-down.

Location: Our two locations are on the near eastside of Madison on bus lines and bike paths. After School programs take place in the school buildings under the direction of a Site Supervisor.

This is a school year position with the option to join our summer team.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:
Must be 18 years of age
Has a high school diploma or GED
Has the ability to supervise an active group of children
Knows the importance of creating a safe environment for children
Has experience working with children in any setting
Values building relationships with children and families
