Job Description
General Description:
This position will design and develop applications, interfaces and data sources that meet the needs of our various business models and processes.

Duties and Tasks:
  • Primarily responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for various platforms including Web Based Applications, Desktop Applications, Windows Mobile, iOS and Android Applications.
  • Develop, streamline and maintain databases that are related to the applications developed.
  • Manage relationships with distribution channels for publicly available applications.
  • Application and database performance tuning and error handling.
  • Full-Stack development of applications, API’s, automated forms and various middleware products.
  • Documentation of products developed.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.



KSA's/Required Qualifications
KSAs:
  • Very proficient in Microsoft operating systems
  • Very proficient in mobile operating systems
  • Excellent knowledge of current Microsoft Office Suites
  • Working knowledge of database, web and mobile development technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently both individually and as a member of a team
  • Expert knowledge of software development practices in various platforms
  • Must be well versed in programming languages including (but not limited to) .NET Core, JSON, Razor Pages, C#, CSS, JAVA Script, jQuery, Microservices, Entity Framework, and Bootstrap
  • Ability to develop process flow charts
  • Ability to create clear, usable documentation of developed applications. Documentation should include training/instruction manuals as well as technical documentation detailing the concepts and routines used in the development of the application.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Technology or other related field: OR a combination of education, training, and equivalent relevant experience.
  • Some experience developing and distributing applications for mobile devices.
  • Some experience designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases including development of stored procedures, triggers and DTS packages.
  • Significant experience developing applications using Microsoft development and delivery platforms including CI/CD tools.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft Office Products
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
  • Apple Certified Developer.
