POSITION SUMMARY:

Victoria Air Conditioning is searching for an Assistant Project Manager who will assist the Project Manger supervising and orchestrating the complete project. Assist the Project Manager to ensure the team members have all the tools, material and information needed for a successful Project.

Requirements:

· Degree in Construction Management course work or Civil Engineering or other Technical Degree or Min 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Project Manager ready to take the next step

· Enjoys working with field personal and craft people

· Enjoys finding and hiring your own craft people

· Willingness to work in organization that utilizes companywide project management system, software based

· Willingness to work in an organization that utilizes 3D shop drawings for coordination and installation

· Willingness to work in an organization that utilizes prefabrication

· Willingness to work on plan and spec projects

· Well organized

· Can manage your time and meet deadlines

· Seeks out company policy before starting a new task

· Is honest with yourself and others about your skills and capabilities

· Know more about your projects than anyone else in the company

· Can communicate a point in an email with 3 sentences or less

· Successful with completing delegated task

Skills to be learned or improved:

· Project Planning

· Scheduling, Short Term and Entire Project

· BIM Coordination

· Prefabrication

· Understanding SMACNA Standards

· Duct System Ordering and Installation

· HVAC Take-Offs, Ordering and Standards

· Construction Contracts

· Shop Drawings and Submittals

· Construction Communications Skills, Both Written and Oral

· Estimating and Pricing of Change Orders

· Plan and Specifications Interpretation

· Job Costing Analysis and Forecasting

· Supervising and Orchestrating the Complete Project

· Plumbing Take-Offs, Ordering and Standards

Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen, a background check that would not prohibit you from working on active school campuses or governmental facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
