Bartender/Server Job at University Club of Chicago
The University Club of Chicago, a private city club, seeks polished, friendly, and upbeat individuals with excellent customer service and communication skills to fill a Full-Time Bartender/Server position.
Must have a minimum of three years fine dining experience; Dependable and hardworking; Excellent communication skills; Old and New World Wine knowledge. Must be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
These positions require a flexible schedule including the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
High base pay plus automatic 20% Gratuity.
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/mixologist
- Excellent knowledge of wine and spirits
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Basset and Servsafe certified
