About ECU Health Home Health and Hospice
ECU Health provides home health and hospice care in 20 counties across eastern North Carolina. Services are coordinated from offices in Ahoskie, Greenville, Kenansville, Washington and Windsor. In addition, ECU Health operates the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, an 8-bed facility for patients who require a higher level of hospice care than can be provided at home.
Position Summary
The Bereavement Coordinator will be in charge of organizing and coordinating a bereavement program for the families of Hospice patients. Must have the ability to work autonomously, as well as with interdisciplinary team. Must have the ability to coordinate and direct work volunteers.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required- or higher.
Experience or education in grief or loss counseling is required.
HeartSaver certification is required.
Valid NC driver's license is required.
Must have required insurance limits.
Frequent travel throughout the ECU Health service area.
Hospice experience is preferred.
Other Information
This position is a part-time position, 24 hours a week.
This position is eligible for part-time team member benefits.
