Integrated Textile Solutions (ITS) is a locally owned, growing manufacturing organization with two locations (Salem, VA and South Boston, VA) serving the military and first responders by producing quality products for their use with pride.
ITS is in search of a CAD Operator to work in our Salem location. The CAD Operator will work to increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Create/maintain textile patterns and cut marker files by using CAD/Pattern Making software
- Create/verify work orders from customer purchase order
- Plot markers for work orders
- Support Engineering and Cutting Room
Essential Knowledge and Abilities
- Experience with CAD/Pattern Making software
- Strong computer skills
- Microsoft Office products
- Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management skills and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- This position requires that the person be a self-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree preferred in related field.
