**Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm**

The Case Management Analyst enhances the operational efficiency of the Case Management team and ensures customer satisfaction by providing accurate information to Cigna's internal, and external matrix partners. The Case Management Analyst is expected to demonstrate effective communication through courtesy, and professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Communicates professionally with customers, healthcare providers, insurance community and specialists to provide and verify information, explain processes, and answer questions regarding products, benefits and services. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Perform outbound calls to facilities to obtain additional information needed to respond to the case management inquiries.
Access the various Cigna systems to obtain requested information such as eligibility, benefits, demographic information, discharge and clinical information, available customer programs.
Provide accurate information based on an understanding of customer and service requirements.
Determine the course of action for each request based on existing workflows.
May redirect or forward requests to the appropriate department by following established guidelines.
May provide support to the other members of the team.
Perform general administrative duties such as preparing reports as requested, assist other team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Excellent telecommunications and customer services skills
Prior experience in customer service role/operation.
Prior experience in supporting licensed medical and clinical staff preferred.
Prior experience in managed care/healthcare environment ideal.
Proven data entry skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriately.
Proficient knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of automated systems/telephone systems.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 33 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
