Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Allergy & Asthma Specialty Service, P.S. - Gig Harbor/Silverdale, WA
Duties:
- Welcoming patients after check-in and obtaining vital signs, as well as educating and coaching on spirometry for asthma patients. Entering information into the EHR.
- Administering a variety of injections including allergy shots, xolair, nucala, immunizations, and corticosteroids.
- Monitoring allergy shot patients for reactions and administering appropriate care.
- Checking in, checking out and scheduling patients when needed.
- Position floats between 3 offices

Requirements:
- Current WA State certified MA license.
- Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA.
- Basic understanding of EHR software/good typing skills .
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- EPIC knowledge a plus
