Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Job at Patriot Healthcare
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance to the Nurse Practitioner that you will be working with. You will be aiding their assessments and maintaining communication with each of our facilities, as well as patient family members.
Responsibilities:
- Meets with Team weekly to discuss plan of care of patients and to be an integral part of the team to ensure the patients receive the best care possible.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with policies, procedures, as instructed by supervisor.
- Document tasks performed in Patient Chart requested by the Nurse Practitioner
- Communicate with Family and/or Facility staff to ensure we are adequately maintaining the needs of the patient.
- Communicate with Nurse Practitioner and office on a regular basis to assist in identifying areas of concern regarding patient care.
- Taking vitals on patients being seen that day.
- Assembling patients to a central are for Nurse Practitioner to examine.
- Work closely to ensure Nurse Practitioner sees 12- 15 patients a day.
- Chart phone and falls as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
