About Us
AAI Engineering is a mid-size firm located in the Portland Metro Area, offering civil and structural engineering, planning and landscape architecture services. We are currently looking for a mid-level civil engineer to join our team. Our civil engineering department specializes in commercial and industrial site development as well as educational and governmental work. AAI’s clientele includes architects, developers, building owners, public agencies, building product manufacturers and contractors. For over 27 years we have been dedicated to service, flexibility and technical expertise, with engineers licensed in 15 states.
Requirements
- Three or more years of relevant experience in site development
- Working knowledge of Civil3D
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Stormwater layout and design
- Fire and water layout and design
- Hydrology design and modeling
- Mass grading
- Site plan layout and design
- Engage with internal and external parties to complete engineering plans from the planning stage to completion
