POSITION SUMMARY
The Multi-Systemic Therapy Clinician provides model adherent evidence-based intensive in-home clinical services to adolescents with substance abuse and delinquent behaviors and their families. The Clinician will complete a five-day training certifying them in the MST model.

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus! Half paid upon hire and half paid at one year of service!

Additional location stipend $5,440

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology is required.

Must be licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist. If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent services.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking, is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, engage in statewide travel and provide on-call rotation coverage.

SCHEDULE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (But are not limited to):

Participate in MST training and demonstrate a clear understanding of the MST model.

Provide direct case management/therapeutic services and develops case management/therapeutic plans specific to children and their families involved in the juvenile justice system in accordance with the MST model.

Provides service in the office and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program. May transport clients to appointments as appropriate.

Engage clients and families in comprehensive safety planning and action-oriented interventions.

Conduct program specific screening and develop clear clinical formulation in accordance with the DSM 5.

Complete weekly clinical documentation including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, in accordance with agency policy and model specific demands.

Participate in weekly group supervision and consultation with assigned clinical team.

Participate in quarterly MST booster trainings and all agency and stakeholder specific trainings.

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with CSSD, as well as DCF or community agencies in order to provide comprehensive and effective treatment for clients and families.

Triages clinical emergencies and implements program specific safety and consultation protocols.

Participate in on-call rotation with teammates to support clients/families in times of crisis.
