JOB SUMMARY:

As part of the Operations team, the Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer during planning and implementation of key performance improvement and safety together initiatives. The Coordinators' goals will be to support transformational and sustainable outcome improvements using project/program management, utilizing quality and performance improvement tools, as well as High Reliability principles. The Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting operations and nursing initiatives and communications efforts across the organization. The Coordinator is also responsible for implementing the strategy and tools used to support organizational change for frontline employees.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Logistics and Planning:

o Coordinate needed resources and services to support facility and clinical safety, including planning and execution

Communication:

o Provide support to project leadership to manage overall project timelines and objectives

Project Management:

o Develop in depth understanding of each project s scope and particulars ,

o Work closely with project team members and managers to assist in delivering organizational projects efficiently, providing support to all stakeholders

o Manage team goals and timelines to keep workflow on track,

Support project leads to manage change strategy and communication strategy to align with overall project timeline and objectives

o Manage administrative task, such as relevant document and information distribution, report collation and communications support,

o Support coordination with steering committees, executive committees and sponsors regarding implementations current change, and communication needs and objectives

o Assist in meeting requirements of regulatory and reporting agencies CMS, DOH, TJC, Leapfrog, etc,

Support regulatory agency site visits

Performance Improvement:

o Understand scope and plan for improvement initiatives, support stakeholder and leadership buy in

o Use project coordinator skills to develop project plan and timeline for improvement activities; establish metric and milestones to effectively track deliverables

o Help support team culture of continuous process improvement and transparent accountability for clearly defined outcomes

Data and Databases:

o Management of data and databases including PeopleSoft, Press Ganey, and EPIC, and automated standardized reports such as productivity, clinical outcomes and facility safety,

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree preferred

Secretarial/Business Education or a minimum of (1) one year of Secretarial experience

Must have previous payrool and scheduling experience Staffing experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent and strong interpersonal skills,

Ability to multi task

Excellent critical thinking skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in computer skills and software programs, microsoft office, powerpoint, excel, outlook etc.
