A Grocery Picker in our Duluth, MN Distribution Center operates a battery powered picking machine, either a floor pallet jack, or a high lift machine. The picking order is software driven. A picker wares a headset to hear and carryout operations given as voice commands. A person doing this job will physically lift and place case goods to a pallet and confirm by voice that the pick in complete. Full pallets will shrink wrapped by the picker, labeled and staged for distribution. This position is Monday thru Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM
- This position requires an employee to be able to stand, walk, lift and bend throughout their entire shift.
- Employees must be able to physically handle grocery items with typical weights 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to hear and respond to computer voice commands
- Must be able to speak clearly.
- Work shifts include late night/ early morning hours.
