Westside Concrete Materials is seeking to hire a full-time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to load and unload products, make deliveries to customers, and complete general warehouse work. This union position offers a competitive wage, a full benefits package, and a 401k plan. The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate works a flexible schedule that includes Saturdays. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DELIVERY DRIVER / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:

As a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate, you have the opportunity to work in the warehouse and deliver products to our customers. You drive a company vehicle and ensure that it is clean and running properly before you complete your deliveries. You climb up onto the back of a flatbed to pull and connect straps to ensure that the loads are secure. Using a forklift or by hand, you safely and efficiently load and unload vendor and customer trucks. The items you move include bags of concrete, lumber, and/or rebar.

You complete an inventory of the warehouse and when we receive deliveries you assist in unloading the trucks and receiving the product. Additionally, you complete warehouse duties including working in the yard, waiting on customers. You enjoy being part of a union and like keeping busy and being on the move throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A or Class B driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to complete a forklift safety course or possess forklift certification

Completion of a truck driving school or apprenticeship program is preferred. Phone and radio communications experience is a plus! Warehouse experience is desired. Training in building products is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person!
