Dental Assistant Full Time
We are a busy and growing specialty dental practice that is always aiming to provide the best quality care for our patients! We are searching for a dental assistant to join our clinical team. Our ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, organized, energetic, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure during busy hours while also providing our patients with a positive experience!
We are a digital office which will require all potential candidates to be proficient with computers. One year of dental assisting experience and an x-ray certification is preferred. Commuting twice a week to State College office required. Please send your resume and cover letter. Responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:
· Gather patient information and health background
· Prepare the work area for procedures
· Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
· Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
· Prepare materials and instruments for dental procedures
· Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory
Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
· 1+ years of dental assisting experience
· X-ray certification
· Current BLS and CPR certification preferred
· Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
