Dental Assistant Job at Periodontics Implant Dentistry
Successful Philadelphia Northeast Periodontal / Implant dental Practice.
Looking for a Dental Assistant with EXCELLENT chair side manners & experience in Periodontal / Oral surgery.
Must have the following :
- Provides chair-side assistance to dentists in the performance of dental procedures, to include operative, preventive, periodontal and oral surgical procedures.
- Prepares, sterilizes, organizes, and sets up dental equipment, ensures that all dental instruments are cleaned, dated, and processed according to established clinic guidelines and standards.
- Monitors and maintains dental equipment, such as compressors, evacuator systems, radiographic developing equipment, sterilizers, and light curing units, in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines.
- Develop and process dental radiographs in accordance with provider orders; assists in the monitoring and maintenance of radiation safety procedures and protocols.
- Follows and maintains all relevant federal, state, and institutional regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards for the provision of dental clinical services.
- Ability to set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines.
current office hours
Mon + Thurs 8am- 6pm, Tues + Wed 8am- 5pm
Hourly Rate is depending on experience. This job pays well for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
