We are an established practice seeking a cheerful, caring, and knowledgeable hygienist to join our team FULL TIME. A current dental hygienist license is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Our top priority is quality care coupled with a great patient experience. We serve all demographics of the population, services include, cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, emergency, dentures and partials, root canals, veneers and general dentistry. We operate a busy office with high levels of traffic.

Responsibilities:

o Counsel patients and keeping them calm during examination and treatment

o Screen patients, including conducting mouth and neck examinations and reviewing oral health history

o Educate patients on proper teeth and gum care

o Take X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth

o Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

o Remove plaque, cleaning teeth and helping to prevent gum disease

o Support the Dentist on all aspects of dental care

o Stay current with the latest developments in dentistry

o Collect medical and dental histories from patients

o Chart dental conditions based on observations and evaluations

o All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

o Current Dental Hygiene license (Must)

o One year or more of relevant experience in the dental industry preferred but open to no experience for the right candidate

o Process a strong commitment to patient care, patient health and quality work
