Position is HYBRID reporting part-time to our Tampa, FL office location.

At LIBERTY Dental Plan the Dental Provider Data Coordinator is responsible for outreach to providers to facilitate encounter corrections by troubleshooting/resolving provider information and data issues. This position is also responsible for performing administrative tasks and support duties related to provider data management and encounter management workflow.

Job Summary Details:

  • Communicate with dental providers and provide clear documentation to provider offices on issues causing encounter pends/denials and potential solutions.
  • Provide administrative support including documentation relating to provider data management and encounters.
  • Prioritize, research, and resolve provider and encounter leadership inquiries received within established timeframes.
  • Process updates/changes to demographic and billing information.
  • Communicate with provider payment hold or prepare provider for possible termination if office does not achieve compliance with Provider Master List (PML) requirements.
  • Prepare provider data-related reports for encounter leadership (e.g. exception reports, root cause analysis outcome reports, etc.) and assist with error resolution, follow-up, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist with researching available systems, troubleshooting, and resolving inquiries related to provider network, including but not limited to system setup, claims, and financial data.
  • Work closely with provider relations teams to update and maintain provider network data as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: *

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in a Healthcare field or equivalent experience in Health Plan Operations (i.e., Member Services, Provider Relations, Claims, etc.) preferred
  • Dental Assistant Certification preferred
  • 2 years of administrative experience in an office environment required; healthcare or dental insurance industry environment preferred

Compensation: *
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $17.00 - $28.25 hourly, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
