The Drafter will collect and maintain drawings and data, and perform other functions in a support role as part of the Borger Maintenance Engineering Team.
Responsibilities may include
Maintain plant Plot Plans and other standard drawings
Update Plant Safety Information and P&ID drawings for the Management of Change process
Perform field walks and update inspection Isometric drawings for new projects and maintenance work
Perform As-built drawing updates
Support document control in the Falcon system
Basic/Required Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High school diploma
Beginner or greater proficiency in AUTOCAD, MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years experience as a drafter
Associates degree in Design or related field
The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.
