Panel Builder
Serve Electric is seeking a Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and install industrial control panels for automated machinery. Panel work will include reading and understanding electrical drawings, mounting & wiring devices while using common industrial practices and working with a wide variety of tooling.
Responsibilities:
· Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
· Cutting, fabricating, and modifying electrical enclosures to accommodate devices and equipment.
· Routing and terminating wires and cables.
· Assembling a variety of items according to the electrical drawings and/or written instructions.
· Energizing and testing the completed control panels.
· Utilizing a digital multi-meter and/or other test equipment to verify the correct wiring of the completed control panel.
· Inspect the completed control panels to verify that all specifications and quality standards have been met.
· Observe all applicable safety policies.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area to help ensure safe working conditions.
· Maintain established production standards to help ensure production schedules and quality are met.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring control panels.
· High School Diploma or GED is required.
· Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision once trained.
· Has good time management skills
· Efficient, well-organized, and possess strong communication skills
· US work authorization (Required)
· Must be able to lift 50lbs and perform the physical aspects of the job including bending, climbing, and standing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
