Hours are 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday with additional hours as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Manage a team including a supervisor and 2 operators.
• Operate an industrial wastewater pre-treatment facility and air pollution control equipment.
• Maintain compliance with rules and regulations relating to air pollution, wastewater discharge, stormwater protection, chemical handling, and spill prevention.
• Maintain all permits, records, and reports, as well as supervising and performing daily wastewater sampling.
• Perform maintenance to wastewater system as needed.
• Manage compliance with air pollution control, stormwater permit, and all other applicable environmental regulations.
• Manage the work of others, troubleshooting, assuring compliance, and monitoring cost.
• Prepare technical calculations and reports to regulatory agencies.
• Develop and maintain a common safety culture by assuring the identification and control of workplace hazards for all employees to reduce recordable injuries.
• Recruit, develop and retain an effective environmental operations team to support the goals of the organization.
• Must be willing and able to perform confined space entry and rescue duties
• Other duties as assigned.
