Environmental Technician Job Responsibilities
- Site sampling of soils or liquids on industrial, commercial, or residential work sites
- Maintain testing instrumentation by installing, operating, and completing preventative maintenance
- Prepare written summaries of work site activities as well as weekly time sheets
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain safe and clean work site conditions
Job Pre-Requisites
- Eligible to work in the United States (I-9 Form)
- Current driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Work references that can attest to past work history
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and on time-sensitive deadlines
Job Specific Requirements
- Lift containers weighing up to 50 lbs
- Traverse changing topography on job sites
- Work in and around industrial or commercial sites
- Ability to use basic hand tools including sampling equipment, shovels, post-hole tools, etc.
- Ability to read construction plans a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and email correspondence
- Candidates with OSHA trained 40 hour HazWoper credentials and familiarity with environmental concepts preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
