Overview:
Holcim, US is recruiting for full time day shift (6am - 6pm) Equipment Operators at the Scurry (Rosser), TX sand & gravel plant.

What you'll be doing:
- Operates dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials
- Loads material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant
- Moves earth or other materials from one location to another
- Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment; Maintains appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels and performs minor repairs as needed
- Keeps equipment clean and orderly
- Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times
- Completes paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required
- Performs the day-to-day activities of a plant (Sand and Gravel, Quarry), duties could include tasks associated with maintaining the stationary equipment of various plants
- Maintains and reviews maintenance logs for repairs
- Communicates with drivers and crew which includes supervisor, loader operators and laborers
- Other duties as assigned
What we're looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write
- Excellent driving skills
- Valid Driver’s License

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
