WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
As an ETL Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain data models that support the business objectives and strategies. You’ll also collaborate with other stakeholders, such as business analysts, data engineers, and BI engineers, to ensure the quality, accuracy, and usability of the data models.
In this role, you will interact with the IDW development teams, configuration teams, various technical teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and maintain overall Business Intelligence platform reliability, availability, and performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The following is required to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor's degree or 6 years of professional work experience in ETL
- Experience working with Erwin Data Modeler
- Experience with Teradata
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data integration, data governance principles and best practices
- Knowledge of retail industry data sources and business processes
- Experience communicating complex data concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Your resume and application will stand out if you have:
- At least 6 years of experience in ETL, preferably in Teradata
- Strong work ethic, highly driven and self-motivated
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy
- Strong oral and written presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in data profiling & analysis
- Experience using Teradata, Linux, or Python
- Willing to state an opinion and apply critical thinking
- Ability to draw conclusions without complete information
- Self-motivated with a love for learning
- Takes personal accountability for the delivery of projects and committed timelines
- Passion for the work
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- The salary range for this job is between $90,500 and $144,500. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
