Experienced Commercial/Industrial Welders needed in Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas
Pay: $25 - $28/hr DOE
*$150 Sign-on Bonus*
NO TRAVEL PAY OR PER DIEM OFFERED
IMMEDIATE START
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Take measurements to plan layouts
- Set up welding machine according to specifications
- Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Test all machine welds to ensure quality
- Weld by hand any leaks found in quality penetration die test
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 5 years of MIG/TIG/Stick welding experience
- 1-2 years of Commercial Construction experience
- Certified welders desired but not required
