Facilities Maintenance Job at Brookfield School
Early Learning Academy and Hilldale School, a preschool in Colma and a small, academically-oriented, K-8 private school in a beautiful, non-traditional hilltop location in Daly City, (1 mile from San Francisco!) is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to help us with the general upkeep of our schools.
Job duties include identifying maintenance needs, evaluating the complexity of repairs, and doing the repair or outsourcing it to a specialist. Repair and maintenance tasks often involve minor electrical and plumbing work, carpentry, and painting, and occasionally installing drywall or concrete surfaces. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, there may be occasional work with others.
We are looking for someone to work at least 20 hours a week, although the position could potentially be more depending on flexibility and skill set. (We have another school in Sacramento that occasionally needs help.) The work schedule is flexible, although availability must include the ability to respond to duties that arise during the week.
