Job Summary

ConvenientMD is looking for an Analyst to join its expanding FP&A team. This is a hybrid role that includes traditional responsibilities of a financial analyst and will also play a key role in optimizing the value of the FP&A forecasting and reporting tool, Adaptive Insight, to enhance various processes and capabilities of the system.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support all monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A process including month end variance analysis, forecasts, and annual budgets
• Partner with functional leaders in analyzing financial results, budget planning and completing forecasts
• Perform month end analytics including commentary around variance analysis
• Support the production of financial reporting packages and presentations
• Become a super user and in-house expert of Adaptive Insights
• Leverage existing functionality within Adaptive Insights to execute best practice enhancements to improve modeling, reporting, forecasting and budgeting outputs
• Stay up-to-date on Adaptive releases and train team on new functionality
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve and optimize processes
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

Key Skills and Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration
• 1-4 years of relevant experience; will consider 2022 graduates with exceptional academic profiles
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced work environment
• Experience with financial systems
• Prior experience with Adaptive Insights is a plus
• Prior experience with BI tools, Tableau, PowerBI, etc is a plus
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and desire to learn
