Flex Security Officer Job at Per Mar Security Services
We are looking for Flex Security Officers to cover Cedar Rapids. This is an as needed basis to fill open shifts, vacation days, special events, short term assignments. Perfect for someone looking for some flexibility & to make some extra income. If you are looking for full time many of our flex officers start with us this way and when we have open full time positions, it is easier to take one on.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid drivers license
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
