Job Description:
The Defined Contribution team within Retirement Services Operations Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch is one of the leaders in the retirement business. Supporting Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Retirement Services Operations, this team is responsible for administering 401(k) plans for a large number of employers, including many Fortune 500 companies.
This role will support the 401(k) Payroll Processing team within Retirement Onboarding and Operations (ROO) as a part of Wealth Management (WM) Operations. This role will report directly to a payroll processing manager and work closely with Customer Service Managers (CSM), Plan Sponsors (PS), and management to support 401(k) inbound payroll processing functions.
Team members should expect to learn the 401(k) product as well as the skills needed to build a strong foundation for a career in financial services. GWIM Operations Analysts work in a team environment, assisting internal partners to facilitate requests originated by 401(k) participants and by plan sponsors of the companies we service.
Role will include, but not limited to:
- Receive and process incoming 401(k) payrolls to include contribution and loan repayments
- Correct incoming files to account for plan rejects
- Work directly with the existing Plan Sponsors, CSM, and related supporting areas
- Monitor assigned plans as a scheduled
