HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT Job at IMPERIAL INDUSTRIES, INC.
Position Description:
This position provides administrative support for the human resources department. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this role. This individual will assist with the hiring process, schedule new employee orientations, and conduct training. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude, and an outstanding attention to detail are recommended.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support, including but not limited to: data entry, reports, scanning documents, and general office tasks.
Update schedules and maintain electronic and paper files.
Prepare outgoing mail and track packages.
Assist HR Manager with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online, and scheduling candidate interviews.
Provide benefits information to new and existing employees.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree or comparable work experience is desired.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Kronos or similar workforce management software preferred.
Solid math and analytical skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills.
Exhibit a strong work ethic with sense of discretion and confidentiality.
Must be well organized with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow standard filing procedures.
Flexible and capable of successfully performing in a fast-paced environment.
