Working Job Description
The Identity and Access Management Technician is responsible for providing identity management services for the client’s enterprise. The technician is responsible for the processing and issuance of public key infrastructure (PKI) certificates and security hardware tokens.
- Develop, maintain, and execute standard operating procedures (SOP) for all identity management actions.
- Act as the registration authority (RA) and local registration authority (LRA) for the client.
- Process PKI and security hardware token requests.
- Provide technically detailed reports including metrics for identity management services.
- Provide NIPRNet Hardware Token Service, to include of DoD PKI certificates on hardware tokens.
- Report on all token actions metrics via Monthly and Annually Metrics reports.
Job location is Petersburg, VA at Fort Lee and Technician must be onsite 3 days per week.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Secret Security Clearance Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum of five (3) years of experience performing in Federal Government IT environments.
- Strong expertise in the following technologies: Host Based Security System, Network and Host Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Security Information and Event Management, firewall technologies, malware detection and enterprise-level antivirus solutions / systems, encryption standards, and full packet capture.
- Demonstrated ability to document processes and procedures.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment / scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages.
- An understanding of DOD information assurance policy and regulations.
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure.
- Experience in developing and maintaining play books.
