Position Summary
Works with a team of consultants for the successful implementation of Workforce Management Systems (WMS) including advanced scheduling methodologies. Partners with clients to document the business requirements and use cases on how software will be utilized. Assists clients in the assessment and implementation of technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Evaluates client needs, provides industry specific best practices, and designs configurations that support business processes. Develops projects plans and leads team on delivery and implementation. Assists team with configuration of systems to the client’s specifications and provides guidance. Oversees testing plans and troubleshooting techniques to complete final system setups. Ensures the delivery of training and end-user support during and after the implementation process.

Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Works with a team of consultants to successfully complete implementations of Workforce Management Systems (WMS) including advanced scheduling methodologies.
  • Assists external clients in the analysis and implementation of technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions
  • Evaluates client needs, develops configurations that support business processes
  • Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans
  • Reviews test plans and troubleshooting techniques in support of final system setups
  • Ensures delivery of training and end-user support during and after the implementation process
  • Day to day project leadership tasks of client projects and implementations
  • Development of weekly status and client presentations as required
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies that provide efficiency gains for our clients’ businesses
  • Primarily Remote Work, but minimal travel (10% - 20%) may be required for certain clients, and sometimes independently, throughout the US and Internationally

  • Demonstrates sufficient business knowledge to prioritize daily activities
  • Assists in the development of comprehensive presentations at the appropriate level of detail to explain business requirements and the technical solutions that support them
  • Working knowledge of database design and business intelligence tools for the purpose of investigation and problem solving
  • Demonstrates ability to assess and solve problems quickly
  • Demonstrates strong Excel-based abilities, including data analysis and data manipulation techniques in support of translating client data into system requirements
  • Flexibility to work alternative hours, including evenings and weekends, when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or relevant experience
  • Two or more years of experience in Workforce Management Systems (Reflexis, Quinyx, Blue Yonder, Ceridian, Red Prairie, Blue Cube, JDA, Workbrain, Empower etc.) or other relevant forecasting or scheduling platforms in Retail or Supply Chain
  • Experience with labor management, forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, payroll, and task management systems
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools and methodologies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of core IE principles, including Labor Standards, MOST, time studies
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms as it relates to the verticals being serviced
  • Excellent knowledge and functional capabilities with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to speak and present yourself well with client project teams
  • Strong work ethic and capability to work independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Working conditions
Primary work environment is a Home Office. When Consultants are working from home, they are expected to set up and maintain a quiet, productive workspace with an appropriate workstation, a high-speed internet connection, and phone or cell phone connection, a printer, and all other necessary office supplies.
Work hours are primarily during normal business hours Monday through Friday but vary based on the client. On limited occasions, Configuration Analysts may be asked to work outside of these normal hours:

  • Time of day: Flexible work hours, but occasional evenings (5 PM - 10 PM) or overnight (10 PM – 6 AM) based on client needs
  • Day of week: Monday - Friday, weekends as necessary based on client needs
