Key Job Elements:

  • Create the strategy and architecture for integrating multiple systems and microservices;
  • Lead the design and implementation of these solutions working with cloud solution architects, infrastructure, and application teams;
  • Conduct design and architecture reviews, gap analysis and assessment of integration implementations;
  • Design and implement testing strategies for middleware and integration solutions;
  • Perform testing on middleware and integration solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability;
  • Create and maintain formal data structures, data description and data architecture related to system integrations; this can include data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc. Data architecture comprises of topics such as business semantics, meta data management, meta data workflow management and data modeling;
  • Understand the business requirements, system functionality and business processes to design, implement, and maintain appropriate integration capabilities and data design;
  • Architect, design and implement small to large scale integration solutions utilizing technologies suited for the task;
  • Design specifications and develop data strategy and high-level data integration architecture documentation;
  • Build data mappings, providing the means of system integration by considering the target as well as the source;
  • Select systems and capabilities to meet business data requirements, evaluate new techniques for improved functionality.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience with systems integration or related field;
  • Solid experience developing and documenting integration architectures;
  • Solid experience developing software utilizing various technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Docker;
  • Solid experience working with messaging technologies (kafka, mqtt, amqp);
  • Solid experience building middleware solutions using Java, Scala;
  • Solid experience building and deploying integration solutions in AWS;
  • Experience building microservices using Java Spring Boot;
  • Experience building and deploying containerized solutions;
  • CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Nexus Repository, Git and Jira.

Preferred:

  • Experience with any of the following technologies: Javascript, Kotlin, Python, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Postgres.
