Responsibilities:

· Learn and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to aid in the inventory control process.

· Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and reconciling discrepancies promptly.

· Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.

· Monitor stock levels and generate reports to support purchasing decisions and prevent stockouts.

· Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize loss.

· Operate or be willing to learn to operate high and low forklifts to move and stack inventory when necessary.

· Capable of lifting and moving items weighing at least 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience working in inventory management or related roles is preferred.

· Familiarity with operating a point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology is essential.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates a strong work ethic.

· Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with style numbers, color codes, and other inventory-related information.

· Physical stamina and capability of lifting and moving items weighing at least 50 pounds.

· Willingness and ability to be trained on the operation of high and low forklifts. Prior forklift experience is a plus.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
