ANAX Business Technology is seeking a Network Technician to join our dynamic group of IT staff in the fast-paced SMB segment. Responsibilities:

• Provide first-class customer service to a wide variety of clients
• Implement and manage the various components of SMB client networks from mice to SANs and everything in between
• Troubleshoot unique and challenging technical issues
• Maintain servers (virtual and physical) as well as backups, infrastructure and most importantly: client relationships

Basic Requirements:

• A professional demeanor, clean appearance and a keen understanding of the term “customer service”
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Satisfactory written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate technical items to non-technical individuals
• A minimum of one to two years providing technical support for PCs, servers, and/or network infrastructure including experience deploying and/or maintaining the following Microsoft technologies: Windows 7 – 11, Office 2010 – 2021, Windows Server 2008 – 2022 (User administration or better), Exchange Server 2010 – 2019 and/or Microsoft 365 (Mailbox administration or better), ActiveSync-connected mobile devices (Business-use setup)
• An understanding of NAT, basic routing and experience with port forwarding on SMB routers/firewalls
• Microsoft Certification or the ability to complete a certification within 90 days
• Reliable transportation that can get anywhere from Sunrise Mountain to the Pahrump Valley and back again

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any IT certification including (but not limited to) CompTia A+/Network+ (or higher) or MCP (or higher)
• Experience with the Apple ecosystem – iPhone to iPad to iMac
• Experience implementing and maintaining business-grade backup solutions
• Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or better, or a similar third-party client/server SQL product
• Experience with VMware vSphere products
• iSCSI and/or Fiber-channel SAN experience
• Experience implementing and managing SIP-based phone systems
• Experience with account management and client relations
• Experience working with technology in the legal vertical
• Experience in a customer service oriented position

Compensation Package:

Base annual salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 plus…
