Equipment Technician
Position Summary :
Provides clinical support, and transportation services and activities to promote patient comfort and satisfaction. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. In addition, under the direction of the RN and in cooperation with all the members of the patient care team, performs a wide range of duties including clerical, materials management, environmental, and interdepartmental/intradepartmental communication to fully support the peri-operative unit. Utilizes information systems, maintains inventory supply, performs operating and procedure room turnover picks items and equipment needed for surgical procedures, transports specimens to the lab, aids in OR/PR set up, as well as assisting nursing and medical personnel in other delegated direct and indirect patient care activities. Contributes to a positive work environment as an active team member with a commitment to learning and skill development. The JHSCS OR Equipment Technician will primarily work in the Operating & Procedure Room and occasionally flex to other units to meet the daily operational needs of the JHSCS.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
One year of Knowledge and familiarity with hospital equipment, supplies, and procedures.

Day Shift
8:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday- Friday
