Core Insulation Contractors LLC is Looking for a Junior Estimator to join their team!

A successful candidate will have previous experience in construction, is self-motivated, highly organized, has strong communication skills – both verbally and written. They must be able to focus on completing multiple concurrent responsibilities and work well in a fast-paced work environment.

What You Need:

• 5 years’ experience, preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license, insurance and/ or reliable transportation
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Interpersonal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills
• Understanding and navigating building codes.
• Familiar in insulation software, MIKE (Comput-Ability) preferred

What You Will Do:

• Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates
• Reads blueprints, plans and specifications to determine job requirements
• Develops estimates and bids for construction projects within a timely manner

• Completes take-off according to specifications to develop competent and competitive bids for projects
• Reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy
• Inputs take-off data into company estimating system MIKE (Comput-Ability)
• Partners with project managers, communicates effectively with vendors and subcontractors
• Maintains cost estimating tools by keeping data current in estimating system
• Complies with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures
• Promotes a safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE.
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $41,916.34 - $75,000.00 per year
