Silverado’s LA Communities are looking for a Floating Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to travel locally between our 7 communities! These locations will include Beverly Place, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Azusa and Alhambra. This is a full-time or part time position with a set AM, PM, or NOC shift schedule.

This position is responsible for covering LVN vacations, leaves, vacancies, and/or call-ins.

Position Pay: $38-40/hr.

This position will include a monthly travel stipend of $400 for travel between communities.

Shift: Open to AM and PM shift candidates.

The non-negotiables:

• Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing
• Active Vocational Nursing license (LVN/LPN) required.
• Experience working as a licensed nurse in a senior care or long-term care setting with residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairments preferred

What you will be doing:

• Traveling between 4 Silverado Communities providing coverage and support where needed.
• Providing compassionate care and assistance to residents living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or another memory impairment
• Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
• Medication Administration
