The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our landscape supply operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our landscape supply division, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products and services to our clients.
• Manage inventory levels, including procurement, storage, and organization of landscape supplies, such as mulch, rocks, and sod.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure that client needs are met, and projects are executed successfully.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures to ensure profitability and growth.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of landscape supply staff, providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Check inventory daily to see what needs to be completed, put away, brought to the front, etc
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, local market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Communicates accurate pickup/delivery dates and details with internal and external employees
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local transport and vehicle regulations, reporting and permitting processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement promotional strategies and initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape supply management, landscaping, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing inventory, procurement, and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, horticulture, and industry trends in Southern and Central Florida.
• 4. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must have a good sense of humor
