- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers to design and develop high-quality software applications using Python and other technologies.
- Collaborate with other team leads and stakeholders to identify and prioritize software features and functionality.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Identify and address software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being produced.
- Continuously improve software engineering practices and processes.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
- 8+ years of experience in Python development.
- Strong understanding of Java or Node.js.
- Proficiency in software engineering, design patterns, and cloud programming.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Great team player with the ability to lead and mentor a small team of engineers.
- Excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
