Boutique Applicant Workers’ Compensation law firm with opening for an experienced Legal Assistant full time.
Looking for an individual who is a sincere advocate for the injured worker and professional in all aspects of their work.
A self-starter who is also a team player.
Candidate MUST be Up to Date with COVID-19 Vaccines.
Candidate MUST have a minimum 4 years Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant experience.
Candidate must possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in Spanish.
Advanced computer skills including MS Office and Adobe.
Ability to multi-task with excellent time management.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
► Working cases from inception to completion.
► Open, file and amend applications.
► Full working knowledge of EAMS filings
► File and serve documents
► Review, draft and respond to correspondence.
► Review and evaluate client files.
► Doctor, AME and Panel QME coordination.
► Social Security or SIBTF case experience a PLUS.
► Prepare files for hearing and trials
► Drafting and organization of position letters.
► Miscellaneous responsibilities such as intake and reception
► This position requires physical activity including but not limited to data entry/typing, bending, stooping, repetitive motion, and lifting of up to 20 pounds. This position may also require sitting for prolonged periods of time.
