Hook’d On The Sound is now accepting resumes for Line Cook/Cashier positions in Westport, CT. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in high-volume upscale quick service operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs.
- Greet customers and inform them about menu items.
- Accept orders and payments.
- Serve items to customers.
- Cleaning and restocking work areas.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years of experience as a line cook.
- Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred.
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures.
- ServSafe Certification.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
- Aptitude for dealing with high pressure situations.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Follow directions and instructions.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 40lbs if necessary.
- Must be punctual.
Work Conditions/Hours:
Hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Hours are scheduled based on performance and business necessities.
