Loader Job at Oakland Nursery
Garden center loaders assist our customers by loading bagged mulch, soils and other goods into vehicles in our loading zone. They also help customers carry or load heavy or bulky trees, shrubs or pots, and prepare large plants for transport by wrapping them in string and burlap. Other duties include retrieval of shopping carts from parking areas, sweeping and cleaning of loading areas, and assisting store managers in any other tasks around the garden center. This is an outdoor working position, so loaders are expected to work in all weather conditions for extended periods, left 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, have the ability to work weekends, evenings and 6 day weeks(full-timers), especially in our busy spring season. Must be willing to learn safe and productive work habits and be willing to follow direction from superiors. All loaders must take and pass a pre-employment drug screen test.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
