WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS OUR LOCAL HVAC OPERATIONS MANAGER?

This full-time position works over 40 hours per week and sometimes works up to 12 hours per day.

As our Local HVAC Operations Manager, you build and supervise a team of HVAC technicians, coordinating all activity that takes place between the office and the field. Your duties can be divided into three categories: recruiting excellent team members, training those team members, and supervising and administrating your team. You seek out qualified, experienced individuals to join our company as installation crew members and service technicians. Then, you work closely with the individuals you've hired to ensure they understand our approach to service, including assisting with issues in the field as needed. As your team develops, you facilitate weekly meetings, set goals, and provide support and feedback to keep everyone motivated.

In addition to the hands-on management of your team of HVAC technicians, you provide the behind-the-scenes administrative support that keeps our business running smoothly. You manage inventory and equipment, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and communicate regularly with management regarding market trends, customer issues, and any other relevant business insights. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of current code requirements
• Understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry
• Ability to work up to 12 hours per day
