2nd Shift Maintenance Tech’s in St. Paul, MN | $20.00/Hour
Our 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech’s workweek is Monday to Thursday with hours starting at 06:00 pm until 04:30 am This job is a Warehouse type position that that pays $20.00/Hour and is a Temp-to-hire opportunity.
Maintenance Tech Duties and Responsibilities –
- Performs all maintenance & PM functions for building and equipment.
- Ensure correct materials are used for repairing production equipment and building.
- Perform duties on the production line as needed.
- Ensure safety standards and expectations are met at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work station and surrounding areas.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Complies with all company policies & procedures including but not limited to attendance & appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Tech Requirements and Qualifications –
- Ability to perform maintenance on all equipment in plant. (Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, Conveyer systems)
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Effective teamwork skills.
- Ability to problem solve and escalate issues when needed.
- Ability to visually inspect product to ensure equipment is functioning correctly & safely.
- Ability to work safely and maintain safety expectations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a manufacturing setting with machinery. Physical essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, and moving around machinery. Lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to consistently work in extreme temperatures.
