Medical Assistant Substitute Instructor - PM (6:00PM-10:00PM) Job at North-West College
RESPONSIBILITY:
This is a faculty position directly reporting to the Campus Director.
FUNCTIONS:
- Implements curriculum, as assigned by, and under Supervisor direction
- Plans and assigns activities in the classroom and/or clinical settings.
- Identify learning needs of assigned students, being cognizant of the physical, mental and emotional status of learners.
- Maintains records of student progress, attendance and grades.
- Prepares, administers, and grades written and practical examinations
- Devises written lesson plans and implements them through lecture, demonstration, discussion, etc.
- Discusses student concerns related to learning experience.
- Participates in meetings with Program Director or her designee.
- Participates in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
- Provides a professional role model for students.
REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION:
- 3 years’ experience in the field required
- MA Certification preferred but not required
- High School Diploma and MA Certificate of Completion required
- Demonstrates pleasant and effective verbal and written communication, as well as integrity and progressive self-improvement
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift

- Van Nuys, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
